Maid Eulalie once worked as a harbinger of acceptance in the life cycle. Known as the Goddess of Lucidity, she cherished humans and worked tremendously to provide melodies sweet enough to make the remaining amount of time between loved ones joyous before death was to pull them apart. Despite that, humans grew to detest what her presence entailed and with their grief too strong, their love was undone and Eulalie’s stature as a goddess dwindled. Her powers were diminished and she was henceforth known as a Banshee whose presence indicated a bad omen. After a millennium of sorrow-filled wails being all that remained within her to warn of the death that was inevitable, Eulalie has devised a plan to win back over the hearts of humanity and regain her divinity one table at a time.
